I understand that there are many reasons why establishing control over the 
astral plane is necessary and I would like to mention 2 of them.

The first reason relates to the personal experience that one acquires from 
actually visiting another dimension. After my first experience my belief 
system was changed forever.

Secondly, the astral plane is used as a medium to validate the effectiveness 
of activities performed in higher grades.

If you are using methods besides 'Bardon' I would be very interested to here 
about them.
