Re: Bardon and the Buddha
Message 00581 of 3835
Sokan,
If the mind is essentially "nothingness" then the only reason one would
attempt a method, is to try to uncondition it and make it aware of this fact.
What other reason is there to pursue "initiation" than to dissolve the mind
(ego) in to God, Being, that which 'is'?
My point is that ANY method will mean a "doing", and that "doing" is just a
round about way to allow the mind to LET GO. If you encourage the mind to
grow, the ego to feel superior, even to become one with your "ideal" of God,
then you will just create a bigger EGO, (mind construction), and you will
miss the REAL SELF.
I'm only stressing this because I feel it to be an essential part of any
"way" whether it be Bardon, Buddah, Jesus etc.
The only reason methods and techniques are felt to be needed is because the
mind is ignorant of its true self, its "original face". Ultimately no method
is needed, surrender is enough, accept with an open heart God, Truth,
Existence etc, and you will know. Methods, teachings are needed ONLY to get
back to the SOURCE.
Eh, well that's what "I" think anyway... :>)
Peace and Happiness,
