Good pun anyway! :)

Right-vs-left hemisphere is certainly a left-hemisphere sort of way of
putting it, but that's basically the correct idea. Ultimately though,
the magician must integrate the two hemispheres (i.e., the whole of
one's consciousness) and be able to employ both simultaneously or
separately (i.e., be able to use whatever part of their whole
consciousness is needed and still process their perceptions through the
other parts).
