Feather on the TV?

Hi Everyone,
With the help of EMC, I have been learning the principles of
materialization (manifestation). I put the 'theories' into practice
recently (I chose to manifest feathers), and discovered that although
I manifested feathers within a day - they appeared as an hour long
documentary on the TV ;) Is there a little trick that enables you to
manifest something specifically into your hand?
