The Wizard of Od

Greetings.

As an extention to the previous poster's question, mine is more 
basic. IIH makes several references to Od, but it always seems to me 
that Bardon sort of expected the reader to have a prior understanding 
of it; meaning he never really starts with a definition followed by 
an introductory explanation. Except maybe just in passing. Could 
Rawn or someone expound on this?
