Bardon - Some Background Materials

Here is some material relating to the 'Bardon Period' or the esoteric milieu 
of Berlin in the 1930's. It's focus is on Erik Jan Hanussen, but helps us 
better understand the period in which Bardon was doing his work.

Movie:

The Invincible - Starring Tim Roth. Based on the true story of a Jewish 
'strong-man' from Eastern Poland who ends up working in Hanussen's 'Palace of 
the 
Occult' in Berlin in the 1930's.

Hanussen (1988) Starring: Klaus Maria Brandauer, Erland Josephson Director: 
Istvan Szabo Synopsis: Historical drama based on the true story of the Jewish 
clairvoyant Hanussen. A interesting, but not very accurate portrayl of 
Hanussen's life and death. This covers some of his early life including how he 
became 
clairvoyant.

Book:
Erik Jan Hanussen: Hitler's Jewish Clairvoyant. Ferel House Press, 2001. Very 
accurate, detailed, and fascinating look at the man, his motives, and the 
period in which he operated.
