First Tarot card mystery

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well ^_^

In the picture of the first Tarot card in IIH, to the left of the 
man and the right or the woman on either side of the 
hermaphrodite...there are these things, they kind of look like clay 
pots, with black smoke coming out of the top of them. The one by the 
woman has black marks, and the one by the man has red marks. They 
are really easy to miss especially since they not included in 
Bardon's description.

So....does anyone have any idea what these are supposed to be? 

Anyway, hopefully someone will know something.
